This is a CD used as the source for the DIR Radio Network's "King Biscuit Flower Hour", which was broadcast during
the week of February 1, 1993. The disc/show features a live concert from Fleetwood Mac, recorded at the
Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ (the date is not given). This segment is about an hour long.
Dada's segment lasts for about 10 minutes and it is unclear if this was actually supposed to be part of the
broadcast show or not. Since the Fleetwood Mac section comprises the entire hour, this small dada bit may just
be some kind of extra filler in case a radio station wanted to air it at another time? I'm just speculating... I don't know how
the process worked, and I don't have the cue sheet that presumably accompanied the disc when it was sent to the radio
stations. At the end of the track, the announcer mentions that dada will also be featured again the following week.
This has yet to be validated, but at least one other King Biscuit disc exists with dada material (it contains
the exact same segment as is on this disc... strange). Click here for
details on that disc.
There are two songs on the dada track: "Posters" and "Dim". The performance was recorded at the Roxy
Theater in Los Angeles, CA (date unknown, but definitely 1992). This is also the same version of "Posters" available
on the Here Today, Gone Tomorrow promo CD.
